Cats Meow is Uploaded. This toy allows a user to place Cat images on a background. A total of 8 cats can be placed, one for each note of the scale. The cats can be moved around once placed. It is pretty fun playing little tunes with cat meewing sounds! A couple of issues were discovered when we were coding. The application is in landscape mode. We wanted to put in an image picker. However, the built in image picker is in portrait mode. The image would not rotate! A bit of googling showed we were not alone! So picking your own background will have to wait.
Things I tried to teach with this app: Animation, Touch, Sound, and layered images. Pretty successful on those points I think. Future enhancements could include a database to record tunes, more animation to do playback, and of course the image picker.
